I adore planning rehearsal dinners and wish more of my couples asked for help with them! There’s much less pressure than with the actual wedding reception which leaves room for more creativity and fun. To kick off Andrea & Mario’s wedding weekend we put together a fun Nashville, country themed rehearsal dinner with lots of bright colors! Chris & Adrienne Scott Photographers captured some great shots of the festivities!
This rehearsal dinner was a full scale production! The event took place at Marathon Village Event Space which offered a rustic feel with it’s cement floors and exposed brick walls as well as a fantastic view of the city skyline. The rentals were courtesy of Liberty Party rentals and linens by Connie Duglin Linens. Nashville Event Lighting brought ambiance to the room with can lights around the perimeter and string lighting across the ceiling. The gorgeous centerpieces and various floral accents were created by my girl, Hillary with Brocade Designs and consisted of bright colored flowers such as green belles of Ireland, orange birds of paradise and pincushion protea, and pink orchids. The goal was for the decor to look fun and festive but still have some elegance.
The delicious country BBQ was catered by Bacon & Caviar (they have a location in the farmers market, definitely check it out!) and included pulled pork, beef brisket, fried chicken, corn pudding, garlic cheese grits, and fried okra (pretty much everything a southern BBQ should include…and now I’m hungry). Hamilton Bartending Services provided the bar set-up and kept the drinks flowing all night long.
It was a fantastic event and a big thank you to my Simply Stunning team for their hard work and long hours over the course of the weekend! And another huge thanks to Chris & Adrienne Scott Photographers for taking such great photos!
